• THE BEGINNING
Hello friend,
I have spent more than two decades building systems, movements, and institutions that help women rise. Rooted & Rising is where that work becomes personal.

"For years, Kim's work has centered on power, access, equity, and the conditions women need to live with
more choice and agency."
She has led women’s political leadership programs, directed the San Francisco Department on the Status of Women, grown national initiatives, advised mission-driven leaders, and helped build movements rooted in purpose and impact.
But over time, Kim began to see that the personal and the structural were never separate.
Wellness, fashion, and money kept showing up as the
same conversation: how do women build lives that
actually fit them?
• THE SPACE
Rooted & Rising grew from that question.
It is a space for women who want to feel better, choose better, and understand their options more clearly. A space where wellness is not treated as a luxury, fashion is not dismissed as vanity, and money is not kept behind a wall of shame or confusion.
For Kim, each pillar is part of the same larger decision: what you value, what you stand behind, and who you are becoming.
Rooted & Rising is not about arriving at some perfect version of yourself. It is about honoring the woman you are right now, while building toward the life you know is possible.
